Karen Hallstrom Jones

Karen Michele Hallstrom Jones died June 15, 2021, at the young age of 58. She is survived by her Mother: Shirley White Hallstrom; Husband: Dennis Jones; Children: Scott, Corinne, Stephen, Kiara, and Rachelle; Grandchildren: Joshua, Theodore, and a baby girl on the way; and Siblings: Sheldon, Grant, Calvin (deceased), Janette, and Fonda.

Karen was born November 22, 1962, in Sacramento, California; the last born of six. She was faithful and courageous as a child. She radiated light and joy throughout her adolescence, reaching out to the overlooked with love, helping anyone in need. After graduating from San Marcos High School, she moved out on her own and put herself through cosmetology school. She was an excellent hair and make-up stylist, where she enjoyed making others look their best while looking gorgeous herself. She continued to make everything around her lovely as an inspiring interior designer and breath-taking model. Her most prized career, however, was motherhood. She loved being a mother and homemaker to her five children and was a fun and playful grandma to her grandkids. Karen was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, sealed for time and all eternity to her sweetheart, Dennis Jones. She loved to laugh, give big long hugs, chat, create, play, and just be beautiful!

In loving memory of Karen’s life cut too short, services will be held on Friday, June 25 (happy-colored apparel is encouraged). The schedule is as follows:

Viewing: 10am-11am, Memorial Service: 11am-12pm
