Yvonne Dayton Seymore Ashcraft passed away peacefully in her home December 23, 2025 at the age of 93 from complications of Influenza A. Vonnie was born on September 5, 1932 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. She was the 5th of 6 children born to Ida Perkins and Henry Freeman Dayton. She was a woman of great faith in Jesus Christ, full of unconditional love for others. She had so much love for her family and friends and was expressly grateful for all the help she received these last few years from so many.
Mom loved music, dance, working in her yard, and making things beautiful. She had a particular knack for making people feel special and part of our family. She always had a great desire to do her best at anything she tried. It was a struggle for her these last few years when her body prohibited her from being as useful as she always wanted to be throughout her life. Mom is loved and will be missed by so many!
Yvonne is survived by her son Paul (Cindy) Ashcraft, daughter Shannon (Eric) Eliason, daughter Tracy (Bruce) Boehm, daughter-in-law Shelley Seymore, 20 grand children, 38 great-grand children, 1 great great grandchild, and her sister Dorothy Weixler (Werner). She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Robert Seymore and Verl Ashcraft, siblings Doris May, Don, Wayne and Gary, son Curt Seymore and great granddaughter Vienna Seymore.
Memorial services will be Saturday, January 24th, 10:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel on 14 Bonanza Rd in Farmington, Utah.
