Vicki Rae Bean Woods
January 2, 1949 ~ November 8, 2016
Our precious sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed from this life November 8, 2016, eight years to the day following the unexpected loss of her beloved mother, Gloria Shepherd Bean.
Vicki faced tremendous hardship throughout life and had recently learned of her terminal cancer. Even facing that grim diagnosis, the undying faith she had in Jesus, her Lord and Savior, never wavered.
Because of her gentle, fun-loving and childlike nature, she had a gift of bonding instantly with children, young and old alike. She cherished her grandchildren who will forever enjoy memories of laughing, singing, dancing and playing games with her.
During her life, Vicki was a dedicated, hard working employee for many years in the electronics industry. She enjoyed league bowling and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #3285, where she made many friends and volunteered whenever and wherever needed. She was exceptionally proud that together, she and mom worked diligently to attain their High School Diplomas... long past the age of 18!
She leaves behind her big brother, Frank Smith (Dora), younger sisters, Barbara Newby and Bonnie Carlstrom (Lee); her precious children, Wendy Bell (Phil), Shelly Shugart (Jim), Robert Woods (Lawny Hendry), Tommy Woods, and Michael Hull (Amanda); and her treasured grandchildren, Cortney, Felica, Landon, Jay, Shaylynn, Robert Jr., Hope, Trinity, Michael Jr., Jacob, Gracie, Remington, Danielle, and Winter.
We offer our genuine and heartfelt gratitude to Lawny for providing hospice care for Vicki during the last weeks of her life.
