Valeen Galloway Thomassen was born July 6th, 1939 and passed away December 6th, 2025 due to protracted health concerns related to her heart and blood circulation. Valeen was the ninth of ten children. She was married to Val Thomassen and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Val passed away in 2015. In 2017 Valeen married Kent Bullock. She had four children: Carol, Brad, Bart and Brian. She is survived by her three sons. She had seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Valeen was born in Dayton Idaho, but spent the bulk of her life in Kaysville, Utah. She defined herself through her commitment to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and to her family. She saw her role as a mother as fundamental to her person. It was what gave her the greatest joy. Valeen was an avid traveler. She loved going and seeing new places, particularly foreign locations. She and her second husband Kent traveled extensively until health prevented continuing.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 13th, 2025, 11:00 AM at the Kaysville Tabernacle at 198 West Center Street, Kaysville, Utah 84037. Interment will be in the Kaysville Cemetery following the service.
