Teri Lee Littlewood Mitchell, born May 7, 1952 at LDS hospital, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 30, 2021 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
She was raised in the Rose Park area of Salt Lake City. She attended West High School. Teri married Ron Mitchell November 23, 1968. She is survived by her father, Robert Littlewood; 2 daughters, Staci Mitchell Neuman and Cheri Mitchell Hutcheon; 5 grandchildren; Mario, Courtnie, Briana, Kendall, Matthew; 2 great grandchildren; Kayzedon and Emily; 2 brothers, Brent (Diana) Littlewood and Kent (Eyvonne) Littlewood, as well as a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Mitchell; her mother, Geri Littlewood; her sister, Debra Wilcox; her granddaughter, Cambry Medrano.
Teri was a hard worker and a generous person. She didn’t have a lot but she would give the shirt off her back to a stranger. Teri enjoyed being a mother and liked spending her time cooking and barbequing for her family. Teri used to love watching her uncle and her cousins racing at the Fairgrounds and Bonneville Raceway. She loved family traditions like the annual canyon breakfast and playing the candy bar game. Most of all Teri loved being a grandmother and loved seeing her family on holidays and at family gatherings. Teri spent her last few years in assisted living and loved watching Little house on the Prairie, Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy, Law and Order and Matlock.
The family would like to thank the many caretakers and medical staff that cared for her at Canyon Creek Senior living and IMC, respectively.
