Stacie Pitcher Hart

Stacie Pitcher Hart, 44, beloved mother, sister, daughter, wife, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

Stacie was born on March 12, 1982, in Smithfield, Utah to Edgar “Vern” Pitcher and Linda Evans and was the youngest sister to Troy, Deaette, and Mandy.

Stacie was raised in Smithfield and graduated from Sky View High School. She then went on to attend and graduate from Utah State University, where she got her bachelor's degree in science in sociology.

After college, she loved hiking in the mountains, running, biking, and enjoying quality time with her friends, family, and beloved pup Moby.

In March of 2012, the love and light of her life, Sage Hope, was born. Sage brought a whole new type of meaning to Stacie’s life and showed her what true unconditional love is. No matter the circumstances, Stacie and Sage both gave each other strength and courage to withstand and overcome anything that came their way, together.

In October 2017, Stacie married Stewart Hart in an intimate yet beautiful ceremony and gained an incredible bonus daughter, Kailey. Stacie and Stewart spent their days going on wonderful adventures together, showing their girls the beauty of the world, and most of all, loving and supporting each other. She was a loving, dedicated, and wonderful mother to her girls and she loved them more than words could ever express.

Throughout her life, she continued to show up for her loved ones in all the ways she possibly could. Whether she could lend a helping hand, a kind word, a smile, or one of her amazing hugs, she always led with warmth and kindness. Traits that she passed on to her beautiful daughter.

Stacie is survived by her husband, Stewart Hart; her daughter, Sage Hansen and bonus daughter Kailey Hart; her siblings, Troy (Lori) Pitcher of Brigham; Deaette (Jeff) Hartley of Idaho Falls; and Mandy (Troy) Jensen of Hooper, her step-father Dave Evans, her step-mother Marilyn Pitcher, and all of her nieces and nephews, whom she loved so very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar “Vern” Pitcher and Linda Evans and her niece, Aspen Melle.
