Our beloved Sharon unexpectedly passed from this earth into the loving arms of Jesus on November 24, 2017.  She is now reunited with her dearly loved parents and 2 sisters and is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Jen (Chris) Cassity and Ben (Kelly) Tyson; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mary Lynne (Bruce) Bristol, Gloria West, Carol Amende, as well as many close cousins and friends.

Sharon was born and raised in the small town of Albion, ID on the family farm.  She moved to Salt Lake City in 1971 and married Bill Tyson, the love of her life, in 1972.  This beautiful woman was a faithful prayer warrior, committed wife, dedicated mother and grandma, loving sister, and encouraging friend.  In her younger years, she loved horse riding and beating the boys at football and basketball, which earned her the nickname Stretch.  She also was a wonder on the piano, and could sew anything, including superman capes and prom dresses, and loved photography.  She always loved being around family, and in the last 10 years, her world revolved around her grandkids, who dearly miss their silly grandma.

Services will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 at Cross Tower Church of Christ, 3138 W. 7000 S. in West Jordan.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Children's Miracle Network, a charity that was close to Sharon's heart, because of how they gave back to her own grandchildren.  For more information, visit www.independentfuneralservices.com.
