Shane J Bennett, born on May 16, 1961 to J Verl Bennett and Vicki Butler, passed away peacefully on April 28th, 2021. Shane was a happy, loving, amazing man who led an extremely tough life with integrity, strength and grace, and was an inspiration to his family.
After becoming paralyzed in an ATV accident nearly 20 years ago Shane battled several health issues and never lost his zest for life. Even in his final days he was laughing and joking, teasing medical staff, and enjoying time with family and friends at his side.
Shane was a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, an uncle, and a friend! He was so very loved by all who knew him and he is going to be greatly missed! Shane is survived by his mother Vicki Butler (Glen); step-mother Bonnie Bennett; sisters Jill Ingram and Kristy Burns (Tom); step-brother Robert Sullivan (Luanne); step-sister Torie Gailey (Wayne); daughters Kilee Ashton (Matthew), Tiara Bennett, and Chelsee Jensen (Bobbie); granddaughter Halie Summy; and several nieces and nephews.
