1972 Rocio 2023

Rocio Raquel Sanchez

July 1, 1972 — January 7, 2023

Layton

Our beautiful angel mother returned home to our Heavenly Father on the night of January 7th 2023 after a short fight with Leukemia.

Born in Mexico city as the youngest daughter of 9 siblings, she immigrated to the US with her family as a teenager and spent the rest of her life working as hard as she could to give her children a better future. Her life reflected the amazing effort she gave as it was full of so many beautiful memories surrounded by her children and husband. She met the love of her life in 2005 and they had a beautiful marriage for almost 18 years alongside their children. My mother loved spending all of her time with her kids and husband having amazing adventures, and we were so blessed to have experienced so many memories with her.

Our mothers life is that of a miracle and we were so lucky to have had her on this earth for the time we did. She was superhuman. From insisting on going to the gym at 5 am for her favorite workout classes, to working multiple jobs without taking a break. She never wanted to rest; it was her life's mission to do the best she could at anything she put her mind to. Her life was full of service and she opened her home and heart to anyone that met her. Her smile lit up any room that she walked into and she had the gift of being such a loving and open mother to anyone she met. We will miss her home cooked meals and family dinners that she always made sure we had. Her laugh and smile and warm hugs will be forever in our hearts and home.

She leaves behind an amazing legacy of service, kindness, hard work, and faith. She is survived by her husband Arutro Sanchez and her children Victoria, Benjamin, Vicente, Rachael, and Sofia. And her beautiful puppies, Apollo, Coco, and Lulu.

You were the only thing anyone could be on this earth, a good person.

________________________________________________________________________
