Robert (Bob) Michael age 58 born in Gary Indiana Bob passed away pain free and unexpectedly on Sunday August 1, 2021. Bob was surrounded by his close Utah family his wife & soulmate Robyn, Daughter Amber & sons Brandon (Bubba) & David, Son in-law Brandon, daughter in-law Chloe, and grandkids CC & Domi.
Robert (Bob) was born in March 1963 to Robert Dave Michael & Edith Catherine Michael in Indiana several years later at age 5 years old Bob was then adopted and raised by Claude Parritt & Lola Parritt. Robert (Bob) later moved to southern Illinois where attended Frankford Community High School & graduated "Class of 1982". Where he played his favorite sport football for the Redbirds as several very important positions Running Back, Halfback & Linebacker he was excited & looking forward to go back for his 40th Class Reunion this November 2021.
Bob later moved to Florida where he learned the Tile trade where he worked for "Florida Tile" who transferred Bob to Utah to help with control inventory at there Utah location as that was his specialty. After working for "Florida Tile" for several years both in Florida & in Utah. Robert (Bob) started his career as a Transportation Planner where he has been an amazing asset to the team. Bob started his 22 year career with "Huish" which then was "Sun Products" and most recently known as "Henkel". Bob throughout his 22 years has worked in several positions from management to his most resent position that he been in for the majority of his career. All of his coworkers, work family & work friends will all miss him dearly he was also so friendly and enjoyed having social get togethers outside of the work office. Most of his coworkers have had the pleasure of attending one of his many "Halloween Parties" or "BBQ'S" he loved all of his work family & friends.
While in Utah he met and married his wife & soulmate Robyn Michael his was happily married to his partner in life for almost 4 years together for 9 years. He was an amazing husband & father to their children: Amber (Brandon), Bubba-Brandon (Chloe) & David. Bob was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family BBQING, Camping, attending actives for his grandchildren Ciara & Dominic.
Robert (Bob) is survived by his Wife: Robyn, Children & Children's spouses: Amber (Brandon), Bubba-Brandon (Chloe) & David, Grandkids: Ciara (CC), Dominic (Domi) & the littlest Sky and many more who consider him "Grandpa". Siblings: Ray (his twin), Ruth & Kathy.
Robert (Bob) was preceded in death by his biological parents Robert Dave Michael & Edith Catherine Michael and his adopted parents Claude Parritt & Lola Parritt and other loved ones.
Robert (Bob) loved everyone of his many aunts & uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, family & friends he was "everyone's uncle Bob".
Robert (Bob) was known for his love for the Dallas Cowboys he enjoyed watching but got a lil worked up if they lost the game. He enjoyed cooking from BBQing, using his smoker for ribs and all the delicious foods between, he enjoyed cooking for family & friends. He really enjoyed camping and all outdoor sports, golf was something he enjoyed playing with his close friends and sons it was his "boys time".
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday August 21st anytime from 4-7pm at the Utah Copper Community Park located at 8950 West 2600 South Magna UT 84044.
* In lieu of flowers please attended the celebration of life for Robert (Bob) Michael and bring a side dish we will be BBQING as this is what Bob would want. This will be nothing formal as Bob didn't want anything formal & sad like a viewing he would want everyone sharing fun memories and times we have all spent with him, everyone is welcome!! If you would like to help his widow Robyn we ask that you help with task she might need help with (yard work, gardening) or can make donations towards things like dog food (they get at Costco), as Bob was the main provider of the household helping with any else you might see fit.
