A bright light has left us. Liane Denise Sinks Bailey took her last breath on April 12, 2026, at the age of 45, due to complications from Type 1 Diabetes and End-Stage Renal Disease. The morning was stormy, the kind of day she absolutely loved! She lived life by her rules and passed in the same way. She never complained and faced her challenges with grit and courage. When she lost her leg in 2024, she went through that trial as only she could. We watched in awe at her resilience.
Born June 9, 1980, in Salt Lake City, to Larry Eugene Sinks Sr. and Diane Lynne Murdock Sinks. Liane was the caboose to their family, joining sisters Lynnae, Laurie (Bryce) Moore, Lisa, and brother Larry Jr (Amy). She grew up in Bountiful, attending Bolton Elementary, South Davis Junior High, and Woods Cross High School.
Liane married Matthew Enfield in 1997, with Wyatt joining them that same year. Later, Liane married Kevin Bailey, and their son, Myles Eugene Bailey, completed their family. Liane’s pride and joy were her boys. She loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing in the Uintas. She loved the stars and constellations and shared her love of the “big, bright, and beautiful” moon with Wyatt.
Liane leaves behind her two boys, Wyatt and Myles, her mother, siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and countless friends who love her dearly.
Liane was preceded in death by her father, all grandparents, an aunt, uncle, and cousins who welcomed her into their loving arms on that stormy April morning.
She touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness, generosity, and an unwavering spirit. We don't know how we will live without her, and we look forward to the day of resurrection, when all will be reunited again, and our broken hearts can be mended.
