Kristi Bray Licea

Kristi Bray Licea, 60, of Magna, Utah, passed away at home on June 21, 2026. Born on November 12, 1965, in Salt Lake City to Alan and Linda Bray, the third of eight children, she attended both Cyprus High School and West High School. Kristi was a woman defined by her unshakeable strength and independence.

As a single mother to her first four children, Kristi navigated life’s challenges with grace and determination. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family, teaching her children that true resilience is found in the simple act of rising each morning and choosing hope. A lover of cinema, Kristi shared her passion for movies with those she held dear. Her favorite summer memories included frequent trips to the Redwood Drive-In with her children and friends, a tradition that grew into a lifelong love of collecting films.

Kristi leaves behind a legacy of love and tenacity. She is survived by her parents, Alan and Linda; her siblings; Susan, Adam, Amy, April, Nellie, and Sarah; her spouse, Gustavo; her eight children, Joseph, Britni, Bianca, Matthew, Javier, Diego, Angel, and Romeo; and her six cherished grandchildren, Lucian, Illyana, Jade, Elijah, Kataleya, and Lorenzo. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kerry. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 27 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the LDS church located at 7035 Loch Ness Ave, West Valley City, UT 84128.
