Katherine Taylor

Katherine Berthena Taylor left us to go to her eternal home on April 28, 2017 from Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 79 years young. She was born on July 7, 1937 in Neodesha, Kansas. She married James Taylor on May 16, 1953. Together they raised 5 daughters. She was an avid genealogy worker and loved doing research for her ancestors. Her family was most important to her and she always worked hard to take care of them everyday she could. She had a very strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and lived her life showing that testimony to her family, friends and all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents: George and Clara Kepler, her husband: James Taylor, 2 daughters: Debra Chase and Karen Waudby. She is survived by 3 daughters: Libby Stone, married to Dan Stone, Penny Jenkins, Vivian Berg, married to David Berg. She has 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Katherine was a wonderful mother and a wonderful grandmother. She will be missed very much by her family and all that knew her.
Katherine will be remembered and honored on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at 1407 W. 700 S., Salt Lake City, Utah with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 that morning at the same address. She will be laid to rest at the Salt Lake City Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.
Katherine was a wonderful, inspiring woman. She was loved by many and she honored her family and her life.
