Judy Ann Bobchalk Cook passed away at her home on September 2, 2022 at the age of 75, after a long illness. Judy was born on October 27, 1946 to Andy Bobchalk and Marjorie Jane Bennett in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
She lived in Superior, Wyoming until the age of nine when her family moved to La Crescenta, California. It was in California where she met the love of her life Curtis Cook. They were married for 55 wonderful years. Together they raised five children Dean, Dan, Lisa, Kristie and Darin.
Judy enjoyed sewing, quilting, shopping, Disneyland and having parties. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with family. Judy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many callings in Relief Society, Primary, and Young Women. She also served in the Special Needs Mutual which was one of her favorite places to serve.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Karen Williams, her son Darin Andy Cook and granddaughter Baylie Mae Larsen.
She is survived by her husband Curtis E. Cook, West Jordan, Ut; children Curtis Dean Cook (Leisa), Vernal, UT; Daniel Owen Cook (Marivi) Salem, OR; Lisa Ann Larsen (Wayne) West Jordan, UT; Kristie Dawn Cook, West Jordan, UT. 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday September 17. 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 8435 South 2700 West West Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be the evening before from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to services from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley in Riverton, Utah.
