Jay R Pope, our beloved father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, has left us to be with our father in heaven on January 28, 2017. He was born June 21, 1950 in Hailstone, Utah to Arza Ephraim Pope and Marie Draper Greenland. He was an Army Vietnam Veterans. Jay’s profession was a heavy equipment mechanic. He loved hunting, fishing, horses, spending time in his yard making it look beautiful, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by two sons Kelly Jay Pope Sr., and Anthony Arza Pope, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, survived by three brothers Randall Pope, Mark (Arlissa) Pope, Demar Pope and his sister Annette Miller. He touched many hearts and will be truly missed. We will treasure our memories of time spent with him.

Viewing and funeral services will be held at the Lake Ridge 12th Ward the 10th and 11th of February 2017 at 3735 South 7525 West, Magna Utah, 84044. The viewing times are as follows 7-9pm on the 10th of Feb. there will be an viewing from 9:30-10:30am on the 11th of Feb. then the funeral services will begin at 11am. The gravesite will be at Lapoint Cemetery, Deep Creek RS, Lapoint, Utah 84039.
