James Callahan

October 24, 1968 — January 13, 2022

James Lee Callahan
Born in Salt Lake City Utah to Phillip Martin Callahan and Reeda Richards. James worked as a land surveyor for many years. He was a funny, outgoing, witty, person with a big personality, everyone was drawn to him and he enjoyed being the life of the party. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan and he would say to people “They’re America’s team….. aren’t you American?”

During the summer months you could catch James up at Defa’s Dude Ranch or as he referred to it “God’s Country” enjoying the mountains and spending time with many friends ringing the saloon bell having drinks and shouting “down here, down here” or “Last Call!” He loved to have fun, joke around, and always wanted people to smile and have a good time.

James greatest accomplishment in life and the light of his life was his daughter Paige Lee Garcia, whom survives him along with her husband Andrew and his two grandsons Andrew Jr. and Anthony.

Also survived by brothers Marty (Leanna) Callahan & Danny Wilkins, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, lifetime partner Mickey Winrow and her family. Proceeded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother Richard Callahan.
