1984 Jacob 2025

Jacob Mark Meyers

February 4, 1984 — May 1, 2025

Magna

Jacob Mark Meyers passed away Suddenly on May 1, 2025. He was born Feb 4, 1984, in Murray Utah to Mark Wayne Meyers and Jackie Ivie Morrill (Meyers)

Jacob was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Ronald Harlow Meyers and Leah Sundell Meyers (Mark), Kenneth Ivie and Gladys Mecham Ivie (Jackie). Many aunts, uncles and cousins. They are joyfully celebrating his reunion and enfolding him in their loving arms.

Jacob has the most creative mind. He loves to write poems and stories of his own and was even in a writer’s club. They all read and edited each other's books, poems, and stories before they were published. He was really good at that and was often requested to read and edit by the publishers.

Jacob has the best happy smile. The loudest and most joyful laugh. His heart is filled with love for his family. He loves his sister Marci Strauss! He loves her to cut his hair. They would laugh, and laugh some more, over some silly thing, and they have a special bond. Joshua Wayne and Jake are typical brothers! They can fight and fight some more….but no one else better get mad at one of them. They protect each other, play and laugh, hunt and fish, fight and laugh, and are best friends, brothers! He loves his dad! The last couple of years Mark has lived with Jake. He got to be around to see all of the fun special things that make Jake unique. They spend time in the evenings watching movies and enjoying time together. They have a great love. Jacob loves is mom, Jackie, with his whole heart!! They lived together until the last 3 years of Jakes life, worked together, laughed and took care of kids together! He text her or she text him almost every, just to say I love you! He was her rock through many hard times and happy times. He loves Jeff and is at peace knowing that she is being loved and cared for, that she is happy.

Jacob loved stories on Werewolves, Anime (actually anything Japanese) and all types of fiction. He always has a book in his hands and loves to read. He also loves photography, jewelry making and woodworking. He made Jackie the most beautiful hope chest and made Mark a chess table that is so amazing. (Actually, he made it for Mark, but Mark is going to have to pry it out of Jackie’s hands and fight her for it! HaHa!) He loves knives and swords. Loves to go hunting, fishing, camping and loves his family.

Jacobs heart is filled with love. His greatest loves are his niece and nephews! They would lay on his lap, snuggle in, and he would just set and smile and rub their backs! Jacob will be missed in so many ways! There’s just not enough ways to put them on paper! When he gives hugs, they are bear hugs- our Big Bear Jacob. He will be so missed! We know that he is now free to run and laugh with no physical restrictions that he had in this life.

Jacob has always had a very active imagination! When he was young (maybe 5th grade) he wrote his own obituary. So, it might be a bit different, but we are adding his written obituary, from his child’s mind because we found it and love it!

My obituary (By a young Jacob Meyers)

Jacob Mark Meyers was a man who loved to be around his family. He was born in Utah on February 4, 1984 at Cotton Wood Hospital and died in Utah on September 12, 2076 at the age of 90. He died at the Lake Mountain. He died the way he wanted. He killed the bear that killed his dogs and then got assassinated by the man that was murdering people, using the murder stories in his book. He left his fortune to his faithful wife Allison. Together they traveled around the world 300 times. He taught his 5 children the teachings of his father hoping that they would teach their children. His brother, sister, wife and children will just be a few of the millions that will morn his death. His trillions of dollars will only comfort his wife for so long. Jacob’s books were adored by everyone who ever picked up one of the novels. He loved the outdoors and auspiciously when he was with his family. He hoped his kids would amount to something. You will be missed the world over.

Yes Jacob! You will be missed! More than you know!
