Horace Meredith Azanbou , age 41. Died on February 07, 2024, in Salt Lake City, UT.

He was born on May 9, 1982, in New York.

The family later moved back to Cameroon, and Horace graduated high school in Yaounde, Cameroon in

in 2002.

After graduating high school, he moved back to the United States in December of 2006 to live with his sister in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Horace had a style that was unique to him. He was very quiet and knew exactly who he was and what he wanted out of life. He was incredibly smart and had the best O level results of all five siblings. He loved science and loved taking apart electronics and putting them back together.

He enjoyed music, and

reading, but most of all, he loved his daughter Bella Soleil (the names he specifically chose for her) and spending time caring for her. She was his world!

He is survived by his daughter Bella and her mother Kathryn Covington of Salt Lake City; his parents Agathe

and Pierre Azanbou of Salt Lake City ; siblings Aurelie , Lynn , Sherman , Beverly, and numerous nieces and

nephews.

Interment will be Saturday, 3:00 pm at Elysian Burial Gardens 1075 East 4580 South in Millcreek, UT.
