Gayle L Bowden

Gayle was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 13, 1947, to Fred and Margaret Langford and died in the early morning hours of May 26, 2026, at the age of 79. Gayle lived her early years in Park City, Utah, attending Park City High, where she met and married her high-school sweetheart, Garry W. Bowden. Garry and Gayle enjoyed life together for nearly 62 years, spending time traveling across the country, camping, and houseboating at Lake Powell. Gayle worked at O.C. Tanner Company for many years, where she built lifelong friendships. She particularly enjoyed trips to Disneyland and reading on her deck. Gayle is survived by her husband, Garry, and their three daughters, Wendy Crowther (Will), Heidi Christensen (David), and Jody Record (Matt), and her sister, Nancy Davis. She was a proud and supportive grandmother to five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, attending more soccer games and events than we can count. Gayle was small but feisty for all the days of her life.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are scheduled.
