Frank Milner

Taylorsville, UT- Frank Jones Milner, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away on October 8, 2016.

Frank was born December 3, 1926 in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Robert Mackey Milner and Katie Ann Robertson Milner. He and his twin brother were the youngest of seven children. Frank grew up in Spanish Fork, Utah graduated from BYU in 1956, and married Jane Mackelprang on June 10, 1959. They made their home in Taylorsville in 1969. He worked as a school teacher, first in Monticello, and then for Jordan School District, until his retirement in 1985.

A dedicated lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Frank served a mission for the church in North Carolina. He loved cooking, traveling, gardening and riding his bike around town. Frank was dependable and hardworking, and spent his life working for his family and serving others.

Frank is survived by his dear wife, Jane, a brother, Bob, sons Lucas Milner (Lillian), Kevin Milner (Rachelle), Kory Milner, Kent Milner, Kriss Milner (Stephanie), daughter Annette Facer (Troy), sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A viewing for friends and family will be Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 1495 Tamarack Dr., Taylorsville. A brief viewing prior to the funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 11:00 to Noon at the same chapel. The funeral service will begin at Noon. Interment will follow at the Taylorsville Cemetery.
