Ella Marie Thompson Jepson left this mortal life on November 25, 2016 to return to her Heavenly Father and awaiting loved ones in Heaven. Ella was born October 9, 1923 to Thomas Earl Thompson and Erminnie May Bushman. She was raised in Salt Lake City with one brother and one sister.

On August 8, 1942 Ella married Glen X Jepson and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. After spending her early married years in Salt Lake the family moved to Hunter (West Valley), Utah where they raised their three children. Ella was very active in the LDS church and spent many years serving as a teacher in the primary. Her faith and testimony were very important to her and she was diligent in teaching her family the principles of the gospel.

In her later years Ella moved to Camelot in North Salt Lake and then spent the last three years of her life at the North Canyon Care Center.

Ella is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Don) Anderson of Bountiful, Anthony (Ann) Jepson of Riverton, 11 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Preceded in death by her husband Glen, daughter Glenda, brother Alvin, and sister Hilda.

A viewing and funeral service will be held Thursday December 1, 2016 at the LDS Church: 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake 84054. Viewing begins at 10:00 AM followed by funeral service at noon. Internment at Redwood Memorial Estates.
