Desiree McElhaney

March 9, 1969 — October 31, 2019

Desiree was born March 9, 1969 in Murray, Utah. On October 31st her favorite holiday, Halloween, when the veil between the world of the living and the world of the dead is believed to be the thinnest, she was reunited with her little sister Cassandra and her parents Lolieta and Joseph Charles McElhaney Jr in Heaven.
Desiree overcame many difficult obstacles in her life. She passed away due to complications that developed after a much needed surgical procedure.
We find great comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

Her dogs, Lil Bit and Goldie were her babies and the love of her life and she was the love of theirs.
She loved to learn anything and everything!  She was not a complainer.  Desiree was very kind and caring.  She loved her extended family very much.
She had a great adoration for fantasy and the afterlife.
She was a wonderful story teller and loved to share her tales with everyone making great memories.
She is survived by Lil Bit and Goldie and her siblings, Debbie (Ken Price), Randy (Teena) McElhaney, Cheri (Terry Jenson), Clarissa (Russ Strauss)  and Joe (Meshyalah) McElhaney and many nieces and nephews that loved her greatly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Charles McElhaney and Lolieta Mertin McElhaney and her sister, Casandra Rose.
“As to it's [the spirit world] location, it is here on the very planet where we were born; or, in other words, the earth and other planets of a like sphere, have their inward or spiritual spheres, as well as their outward, or temporal. The one is peopled by temporal tabernacles, and the other by spirits. A veil is drawn between the one sphere and the other, whereby all the objects in the spiritual sphere are rendered invisible to those in the temporal.

We will miss her!
We love you Des!
