Daniel Lloyd Burningham, born on April 23, 1976, in Salt Lake City, Utah, peacefully passed away at home in Bountiful, Utah, on February 5, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to his family that will be cherished by those who knew him.
Daniel was a dedicated worker, having spent his career with Utah Disaster, focusing on disaster clean-up. His strong work ethic was a reflection of his character—hardworking, quiet, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He had an innate ability to uplift those around him, consistently demonstrating a generosity of spirit that made a difference in many lives.
Family was central to Daniel’s life. He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Burningham, and his siblings, Gary Burningham and Julie Poole. His children—Emma, Ella, Ethan, and Elena Burningham—were the pillars of his pride and joy. Daniel cherished every moment spent with them, and his fierce love for his family was evident to all.
Daniel’s faith played a significant role in his daily life as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a man whose faith provided him comfort and strength, a steadfast believer in the notion of eternal families that brings solace to his loved ones during this difficult time.
On February 16, 2026, family and friends are invited to honor Daniel’s life. A viewing will be held at the Bountiful 26th Ward located at 200 N 200 W, Bountiful, UT 84010 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Following the viewing, a funeral service will commence at noon at the same location, celebrating his life and the indelible mark he has left on those he loved. The burial will take place at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S 200 W, Bountiful, UT 84010, at 1:30 PM.
Daniel will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His quiet strength, kind nature, and unwavering support for his family will remain a source of inspiration for years to come.
