Dalin Dirrill Sims

1991-2017 Dalin was born to Gaylyne Washington and Tyrone Sims in Salt Lake City.  He passed January 15, 2017. Dalin was loved by many his stepfather and siblings: Bervin Washington, Verrone Sims, Brenna (Anthony) Montoya, Chuck (Crystal) Jackson, Mercedes Sims, Jessie Gale, Aaron Garcia, and Mikaela McCarty.  Beloved grandson of Lorraine Slaughter and Barbara Gray. He was also admired greatly, by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Though, he was born in the city Dalin always had affinity for the outdoors. The outdoors filled him with joy and freedom. He was a great man, who was never deterred by an outside opinion. His kindness and insight will never be forgotten by those who were lucky enough to know him. The viewing will be at First Baptist Church located at 3831 S 2700 W, West Valley City. Viewing hours will be from 12:00-2:00 pm.
