Carol Carlson May

Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie, and Dear Sweet Friend, Passed away peacefully at home on August 31st 2022.
Carol was born and raised in Beautiful Southern California. 

Once a California Girl, always a California girl.

She spoke fondly of the many activities from her sunny childhood, some of her favorites were roller skating, girls scouts and making friendships that would last a lifetime.
As a teen she loved attending dances, listening to music and being with friends.   

While attending BYU, again friendships were made that have endured the tests of time.

Carol married Dexter May in 1963. Together they had 3 children, Blake, Stacey and Deven. She never failed to create a fun, loving environment in their home.
She loved hosting Birthday and Holiday celebrations, especially the May Family Annual Christmas Eve party. One party you didn’t want to miss.   

She had a love for baking treats and sharing with friends and neighbors.

1999 was the year she became “Grandma”. Her world changed.
If being mom was good being Grandma was the BEST !
Her 4 grandchildren were her world. She loved and adored them all, they will miss her the most.

Carol cherished her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the community of love and friendship that it gifted her. She enjoyed attending church activities, Sunday meetings and serving in the Temple.

She had a zest for life, love and friendship.
Making and keeping friends close was a theme in her life, creating lasting bonds was her gift.  

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 6:00 pm.
