Aaron James Keysor

Our unique and beloved Aaron James Keysor passed from this life on July 28, 2026 in Millcreek, Utah. He was born on January 12, 1982, in Murray, Utah, to Kevin James Keysor and Cindy Lee Jenson.

Aaron attended schools in Texas, California, and Utah. Later he completed a music degree from the Los Angeles School of Music. He was also a member of SAG, an acting guild. Between the ages of seven to ten, he pursued child acting for commercials. His highlight was a role in the popular television series, The Wonder Years.

Aaron experienced a variety of occupations: farming, a music DJ, voiceovers, mixing music for movies, and more recently a Summit County inspector for back-flow testing. He had also just opened his own mobile locksmith business, “AK Locks.”

He was fond of gardening, especially Bonsai trees. He was the Vice President of the Bonsai Society of Utah, and was to teach a class this fall on that topic at the University of Utah. He enthusiastically embraced hunting wild boar and deer, and doing anything outdoors. He collected guns and liked golfing with friends and family. He enjoyed traveling -his favorite country being Egypt. He lived for sports. In his early years, he participated in youth leagues of basketball, soccer, and baseball. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and for basketball -the LA Lakers. We joked with him about the many tiffs he got into while watching the Lakers play the Jazz in Salt Lake.

Aaron was the kind of guy who loved people and made many friends throughout his life. He had a great “gift of gab,” and participated in several television game shows with his partner, Megan. He was very knowledgeable in history and could retain what he learned and delighted in discussing it with others. Aaron passionately loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Aaron is preceded in death by his father, Kevin James Keysor, grandfather, Dr. Robert E. Keysor, and three uncles.

He is survived by his son, Maddox Keysor, mother Cindy Corbin, brother Dr. Michael T Higgins (Avriel), sister Dr. Amanda Drury (Brendon), nieces Aviara, Avana, Lotte, nephew Midas; grandparents Barbara Keysor, Bill and Joan Jenson, partner, Megan Prandini, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., with a viewing at 9:30 A.M. The location is 8539 S. 2200 W., West Jordan, Utah.

His interment will be at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, California, following a graveside service. With more information to come later.
