Mark Edward Fox age 59 ended his battle with esophageal cancer on Wednesday May 29, 2019 in his home surrounded by his family. Mark was born on January 4, 1960 to Bryan and Helen Fox. Mark is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 37 years, Debbie Fox. They were married on November 12, 1982. Mark is lovingly remembered by his 3 daughters Amber Fox, Brandy Fox-Culver, Lindsay Fox and Son-in-law Trent Culver.
Mark was a proud member of his Local 140 Union where he thrived as a pipefitter, a brother, a friend and a role model. Mark loved everything outdoors and was often referred to as the great white hunter by his family. He loved hunting and fishing and would be found in the wilderness anytime he could get away. Mark was a proud grandpa. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed teaching them about the world. He had a passion for Nascar, his favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. He loved football, his favorite teams were the Patriots and the Utes. Mark was a jack of all trades. There was nothing he couldn’t fix, build, carve, whittle or tinker with. He believed in figuring things out for himself. Mark was humble and kind, he taught his daughters to be strong, he led by example and will be greatly missed by everyone he has touched.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Bryan David Fox. He is survived by his wife and children, mother, Helen Fox, his siblings Gary Fox, Claudia Johnson, Suzanne Kirk, Darren Fox and Jennifer Sessions. Mark was loved greatly by his 5 grandchildren Trieden Wilkins, Haiven Culver, Kaleb Wilkins, Olivia Culver and Prezlee Culver.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM Friends may visit with family at the church, 5180 W 4700 S West Valley City from 1:00 -1:45.
